3. Sign LG Ben Powers from the Ravens

With Dalton Risner set to leave in free agency, the left guard position is going to need to be addressed by the Broncos. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see two of the biggest free agent acquisitions this team makes be at center and left guard.

Why? Interior pressure and lack of push in the running game absolutely destroyed the Broncos in 2022. This team was constantly giving up pressure on the interior, and players like Lloyd Cushenberry and Dalton Risner have been guilty of giving defenders way too easy of a path to the QB in recent years.

Ben Powers has been one of the league's top pass protecting interior linemen over the last couple of seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, and we know that Baltimore has a lot going on this offseason that could cause them to let a good player like Powers hit the market. They have to worry about Lamar Jackson and the wide receiver position, meaning a high-priced guard like Powers could be on the way out.

Although Powers is more known for his pass blocking abilities at this point, there's no doubt that the Ravens have been one of the NFL's best running teams the last handful of years and his run blocking will be critical for the Broncos going forward. This is a Broncos team that wants to establish itself on the ground under Sean Payton, and Powers has certainly done his share of run blocking for a team that just about annually leads the league in rushing attempts.
