Last Accomplished: Peyton Manning, 39 (2014)

Arguably the worst kept secret in football is that since Peyton Manning left, quarterbacking in Denver has been pretty bad. Whether it be first round busts like Paxton Lynch, journeymen like Teddy Bridgewater and Case Keenum, or underperforming veterans like Russell Wilson, the Broncos have had some of the worst quarterback play in football recently. The Broncos have not had a 20 touchdown passer since Manning, which again, is another brutal stat that highlights the below-mediocrity that the Broncos have received from their quarterbacks recently.

If the Broncos are going to succeed in 2023, they'll need a strong campaign out of Wilson and company, but their current roster could have the construction to finally get that done. The Broncos enter 2023 with a strong and deep receiving core headed by Jerry Jeudy, an improved offensive line, Greg Dulcich coming off a strong rookie campaign, and the new offensive leadership of Sean Payton and Vic Lombardi. 2023 figures to be a strong step forward for the Broncos' offensive unit, so it might be a strong year to gamble on Russell Wilson throwing over 20 touchdown passes.
