The 2025 NFL Draft is about 10 months away, but that will never stop us from whipping up a mock draft, with the Denver Broncos going all-in around Bo Nix. Yes, let's whip up a 2025 NFL mock draft. Am I crazy? Maybe, but I do not care.

Mock draft season is always in-season, so we'll keep with the trend for all of those people who crave mock drafts year-round. The 2025 NFL Draft is months and months away, and the 2024 NFL Draftees have not even taken a snap in a real NFL game yet.

But if all goes well for the Denver Broncos in 2024, they could truly go all-in around Bo Nix for 2025 and beyond, and this is what this mock draft is about.

2025 NFL mock draft: Denver Broncos load up and go all-in on Bo Nix
9th Overall Pick (via NOR) - James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

In a trade down with the New Orleans Saints, Sean Payton's old team, the Denver Broncos land James Pearce Jr, who just might be the best projected EDGE rusher in the 2025 NFL Draft class, which is exactly what this defense could be missing. Don't look now, but both of Jonathon Cooper and Baron Browning could leave in free agency next year.

The Broncos did take Jonah Elliss in the 2024 NFL Draft, so if this happens, the Broncos top EDGE rushers would be Nik Bonitto, Jonah Elliss, and James Pearce Jr. Honestly, that might end up being quite the trio. Denver could also take a top defensive tackle prospect with their first-round pick as well, as a huge need still remains down there.

36th Overall Pick - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona

The Denver Broncos have not taken a tackle in the NFL Draft since Garett Bolles back in the first round of the 2017 draft. This is a huge problem and something that Sean Payton and George Paton need to fix. Jonah Savaiinaea is there for the taking at the top of the second round, and with Bolles set to be a free agent in 2025, they scoop him up.

Heck, even if the Broncos were to re-sign Garett Bolles, they should still look to take a tackle high in he 2025 NFL Draft, and it's actually insane that Denver has not drafted one in seven years. SEVEN!

41st Overall Pick (via NOR) - Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson

Another pick that the Denver Broncos got from the trade down with the New Orleans Saints is the 41st overall pick, which they will use on Barrett Carter from Clemson. Carter has 20 tackles for loss over the last two seasons, so he's someone who can get into the backfield. He's also someone who could fill a huge need for the Denver Broncos at ILB.

The team lost Josey Jewell in free agency to the Carolina Panthers, but did sign Cody Barton to effectively take his roster spot. The expected starters at the position are Barton and Alex Singleton, so while the duo isn't great, it still should get the job done.

Nonetheless, the Broncos can definitely bring more juice into this unit.

76th Overall Pick (via SEA) - Bryson Nesbit, TE, North Carolina

Ideally, one of Greg Dulcich or Lucas Krull emerge as a viable TE1 for the Denver Broncos in the 2024 NFL Season, but the odds are stacked against them. The team should look to bolster this unit in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Bryson Nesbit could be that guy.

In 2023 for North Carolina, he had 41 receptions, 585 yards, and five touchdowns. He's 6'6" and 245lbs, so he's got great size for the position as well. Besides Dulcich and Krull, the Broncos did bring back Adam Trautman, but he's just a guy who knows the system. Trautman is a willing blocker and can catch a pass here and there when needed, but he's not someone the Broncos need to be giving TE1 duties to.

101st Overall Pick - Nicholas Singleton, RB, Penn State

Through the 2022 and 2023 seasons at Penn State, Nicholas Singleton has 2,206 scrimmage yards and 23 touchdowns. He eats up yards and has averaged 5.5 yards per carry through two seasons. The Broncos may not need to touch their backfield that much heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, but you just never know.

Javonte Williams is a free agent at the end of the season, and the odds that Samaje Perine survives the final roster cutdown seem low. All of a sudden, the Broncos top two RBs could be Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime, so another body could be needed here.

109th Overall Pick (via SEA) - Yahya Black, DT, Iowa

In 2023 for the Iowa Hawkeyes, Yahya Black had 51 total tackles, five tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks. He's 6'5", so the length is there, and the Denver Broncos could again need another strong offseason reinforcing the trenches on defense.

The team signed Malcolm Roach and Angelo Blackson this offseason, and also swung a trade for John Franklin-Myers, but DJ Jones is in the final year of his contract, and the team's stud DE, Zach Allen, would be entering the final year of his deal in 2025.

The Broncos could have the need along the defensive front creep up again in a huge way heading into the 2025 NFL Draft.

185th Overall Pick - Noah Fifita, QB, Arizona

I mean, why not? If nothing else, this pick could be made for the backup job. Ideally, Bo Nix plays well enough as a rookie to silence any doubters heading into year two, but perhaps the Broncos also want to bolster the QB room overall. In 2023 for Arizona, Noah Fifita had 25 touchdowns against six interceptions, and completed over 70% of his passes.

He proved to be an extremely efficient quarterback, and he could take another leap in 2024. Perhaps Noah Fifita could find himself being a competent backup at the next level. The Broncos nab him with the 185th pick.

2026 NOR 3rd

To finish off the Denver Broncos 2025 NFL Mock Draft, they come away with the New Orleans Saints third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, as that was also a part of the trade down offer they accepted from the team.

Would this be a good haul for the Denver Broncos?
