The Denver Broncos host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. The last time the Jaguars came to Denver, they snapped the Broncos 11-game win streak. With that said, the Broncos were missing key players and seemed to be a bit worn down due to the long streak, which featured countless one-score games.
The tables have turned a bit, as the Broncos have lost two games in a row dating back to the AFC Championship Game, while the Jaguars are riding a nine game regular season winning streak. That can't keep up much longer, right?

Denver Broncos' bold predictions for Week 2 include a more efficient offensive operation
J.K. Dobbins hits 100 yards for the third time in his Broncos tenure
J.K. Dobbins ran for at least 100 yards last year against the Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys, the two worst defenses in the sport in 2025. With that said, Dobbins is an exceptionally efficient player and has been for the majority of his career.
In Week 1, the run game just didn't get prioritized enough - Denver did average nearly five yards per carry, which is extremely encouraging, but with only 11 carries from running backs, there wasn't any sort of emphasis put on the ground game.
That will change for Week 2. The Broncos should come out and immediately try to establish the run, control the clock, and extend drives. Dobbins needs to be at the center of that effort, as he's going to be the best running back on the field on Sunday.
Jaylen Waddle catches a touchdown pass of at least 30 yards
Another player that just did not get nearly as much work as he should have in Week 1 was Jaylen Waddle. The fix is simple - manufacture touches for the explosive player. Both Dobbins and Waddle are the two best playmakers Denver has on offense, and while the Jaguars do have quite the defense, but the Broncos have better personnel on offense to take advantage of Jacksonville's secondary.
The Jaguars allowed the 10th-most passing touchdowns last year, and what's interesting is that the defense only had 32 sacks, which was the 4th-lowest mark in the sport. The unit is extremely well-coached, but it's not necessarily an unstoppable unit. Bo Nix and the passing offense were able to move the ball quite well in the first half of the team's 2025 matchup.
And with Waddle now in the picture, and his not making an impact in Week 1, Denver will feature him more on Sunday, and he'll get behind the secondary for a 30+ yard touchdown reception.
The Broncos win by... one score
Well, what if the one-score shenanigans continue this year? The Jaguars might seem like an impossible lift for the Broncos based on how badly they beat Denver last year and how poorly the Broncos played in Week 1, but the NFL can change quite a bit week-to-week.
The Jaguars don't have a threatening rushing attack at the moment, and if the secondary can find a way to contain Parker Washington, Trevor Lawrence's favorite target, there is a chance. Denver has more talent on paper than Jacksonville, and in the end, the team with more good players will eek out the victory.
