It just does not matter.

The Week 7 and Week 6 Thursday Night Football games could not be more different. The Denver Broncos were on TNF In Week 6, and they were able to take down the Seattle Seahawks in overtime. 17-14.

Week 7's TNF showdown featured two teams boasting, in the eyes of some, start quarterbacks in Drake Maye and Caleb Williams. Williams and Maye combined to throw over 600 yards and four touchdown passes in what turned into a bit of a shootout.

And instead of dwelling on this game and wondering 'why can't Bo Nix and the Broncos do this?' it's better to just focus on... Nix and the Broncos.

Dwelling on the insane TNF game in Week 7 doesn't mean anything for the Denver Broncos, and fans really should not care

It's natural to watch a game like that and wonder why the Broncos offense can't look like how the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots' units at times on TNF, and while this was just another TNF game, Williams, Maye, and Nix were all obviously a part of what appears to be a historically good 2024 NFL Draft class at the position.

Nix was the sixth and final QB taken in the first round, and ever since being drafted, it feels like at times, he can't do anything right, as the doubters are louder than ever, and are probably doing victory laps with Nix's current slump.

With that said, Nix still has the best overall body of work of any QB from that class and has accomplished the most since entering the NFL. Sure, he might not have the ceiling that Williams and Maye do, but why does that matter?

Nix is a Bronco - he is who the Broncos wanted and could realistically snag in the first round. And seeing how prolific both Williams and Maye were last night shouldn't take away from what Nix has done and can still do.

We have seen Nix play as well as the young QBs last night. We have seen him push the ball down the field with success. We have seen him show up in clutch moments. We have seen him go toe-to-toe with Josh Allen in the playoffs.

Right now, Nix and the Broncos offense is in a slump, but it also hasn't helped that the Broncos have played an absolute gauntlet of defenses thus far. If you were a fan of the Broncos watching TNF and wondering why it looks so easy for them and hard for the Broncos, consider not thinking that.

What the other 2024 class QBs do doesn't matter. It just doesn't. Nix and the Broncos will be fine, and while fans might have a feeling of FOMO watching two great offenses, the Broncos are and will be just fine.
