The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks boast some of the most beloved throwback looks in all of football.

With the two teams slated to meet in Week 6 — in primetime on Thursday Night Football nonetheless — fans were eager to see the teams wear their throwback digs in front of the national audience.

The Broncos are giving fans exactly what they wanted, announcing that they’ll be wearing their throwbacks in what is shaping up to be one of the best uniform matchups of the season.

Denver Broncos will wear throwback uniforms for highly anticipated matchup vs. Seattle Seahawks

The uniforms will add another layer to what is already primed to be one of the best games on the Broncos' schedule

Denver and Seattle were two of the most dominant teams in the NFL last year, with both squads earning the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences.

The Seahawks are the reigning Super Bowl champions, and the Broncos came up just short with a 10-7 loss in the AFC Championship Game.

The matchup will pit two of the league’s most dominant defenses against each other after both finished in the top three in scoring defense and rushing defense a season ago. The game could turn into an ugly defensive slugfest, so the uniforms adding some aesthetic flair to the mix will be a welcome addition.

The primetime clash will feature a must-see matchup between Broncos All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain II and reigning Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

It’ll also be personal for Bo Nix, as he returns from the heartbreaking injury he suffered in the playoffs and gets his first chance to take on the Seahawks since losing to Seattle in his NFL debut. He’ll be looking to bounce back and get revenge against the team that handed him his first NFL loss.

The Broncos could have one big advantage when they don the “Orange Crush” throwbacks. Since bringing the uniforms back in 2024, Denver is 5-0 when wearing them. Their margin of victory in those games is 18.6 points, so the Broncos aren’t just winning in their throwbacks — they’re dominating opponents.

That perfect record provides yet another reason to embrace the throwbacks, especially with a difficult test against the reigning Super Bowl champions on the horizon. The Broncos will take all the good mojo they can get, as the Seahawks are shaping up to be one of Denver’s toughest opponents of the season.
