Rick Jussel was sports editor at The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel for 22 years before resigning that position to become a middle school and high school language arts and journalism teacher. He contributed as a regular sports columnist for The Daily Sentinel for more than 40 years, most of those columns on the Denver Broncos and Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche and Rockies.
