Melvin Gordon, Running Back, Kansas City Chiefs

Though we won’t see Melvin Gordon on the field, the fact that he is with the Chiefs may give Broncos fans extra incentive to root for the Eagles.

Gordon became one of the more disliked players in some time this season as he fumbled the ball multiple times while playing for the Broncos this season and after the team responded by releasing him, he posted a rather odd tweet.

Just over one week later, the Chiefs signed Gordon to their practice squad and that is where he has been ever since. He has yet to suit up for the Chiefs and there is a good chance he never will, and he freely admits that his fallout in Denver, where he was a starter, to a practice squad guy, has been humbling.

The Chiefs recently activated Clyde Edwards-Helaire from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game, eliminating the small chance Gordon had of suiting up but hopefully for him, he can use the experience he’s had this season to motivate him to be better for the team that gives him a chance next season.

However, a Chiefs win would get Gordon a ring on his finger.
