The Denver Broncos will be like most of the world on Sunday, sitting at home watching Super Bowl LVII between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

For Broncos fans, it has been a rough stretch since the team won Super Bowl 50. They have missed the postseason every year since that win, the longest streak a Super Bowl winner has ever gone through in league history.

Hopefully, that will change next season. But for now, Broncos Country will just have to hope for an Eagles win (unlikely that many want to see the Chiefs win) or if nothing else, just a competitive game and good commercials.

But there will be some players on these teams that used to wear blue and orange.

Five players in total, four for the Eagles and one for the Chiefs, will play in Super Bowl LVII. Most of these players had unremarkable runs with the team, but it’s still fun to note which guys with ties to Denver could get the coveted Super Bowl ring.

Tyrie Cleveland, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles

Tyrie Cleveland has only been with the Eagles for about a month, but he is on the roster.

Cleveland is on Philadelphia’s practice squad and yes, practice squad players do get rings. Cleveland won’t be the last practice squad guy who makes this list, actually.

A seventh-round pick of the Broncos in 2020, Cleveland spent three seasons in Denver, much of that came on the practice squad. He was also used as a kick returner and special teams guy but he could never really crack the rotation as a wide receiver.

For his career, Cleveland has eight catches. After the regular season concluded, the Broncos chose not to offer him a future deal and he became a free agent. The Eagles grabbed him for depth during their playoff run.

He won’t be on the field in this game and if the Eagles don’t sign him to a future deal following their season, he will again be a free agent. But if nothing else, he had a fun one-month run with the best team in the NFC.
