Underrated players that can follow Sean Payton to Denver

Bradley Roby, CB

Bradley Roby was a first round pick of the Denver Broncos back in 2014 and was a part of the No Fly Zone for a few years.  He won Super Bowl 50 with the team but unfortunately had a rough 2018 season with the Broncos.

He did not re-sign with the team, but instead signed with the Houston Texans, who then traded him to the New Orleans Saints before the 2021 season, where he’s spent time since then.

Roby is still solid– he’s probably not quite starter material at this point, but I’d feel safe knowing that Roby could be the team’s CB3 or 4.

Damarri Mathis is likely starting opposite Patrick Surtain II in 2023, and K’Waun Williams is the elite slot cornerback.  It’s unknown as of now what will happen with Ronald Darby, but the Broncos could try to field the best secondary possible.

Signing Roby to a one-year cheap contract could be a nice reunion for both sides.  I’m sure Roby loved playing for Sean Payton, as many players have voiced as much.
