Potential Fit on Sean Payton’s Broncos staff: Defensive Backs Coach

Robinson could find his way to Denver under Kris Richard. The current assistant defensive backs coach of the Saints, Robinson is viewed as an upcoming coach within league ranks. It has been reported by multiple outlets that Robinson let his contract with the Saints expire, and is a free agent for any team to bring in.

Another leg up he could offer the Broncos is that he could is that he was recently on the coaching staff for the Senior Bowl. Robinson would also help soften the blow of a potential departure from Christian Parker, another rising star amongst defensive backs coaches.

Robinson has spent the last few seasons in New Orleans, where prior to that he was a defensive assistant, and initially joined New Orleans as a Training Camp intern. The rise from an intern to a highly regarded coach makes for a great story and one that originated under the watch of Sean Payton’s tenure in New Orleans.
