If the Denver Broncos end up with the right head coach, whoever that may be, the team can have a very quick turnaround in the 2023 season.  Some may think that the team is a ways away, but I could not disagree more.

One of the best defenses in the NFL at their disposal along with a quarterback in place and effective weapons can allow this team to make a quick turnaround back into relevancy in 2023 if they get the head coach right.

Don’t believe me?  Well, there’s tons of proof.

The Denver Broncos could have a quick turnaround in ’23

What do teams like the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, New York Giants, and Jacksonville Jaguars all have in common?  Well, the main common denominator is the quick turnaround each team has had in the last season or two.

The Vikings went from the irrelevant middle to a 13-win team.  The Jaguars went from the very bottom to a division winner and divisional-round team in a year.  The Lions went from the very bottom to a team that finished with a 9-8 record and a near playoff berth.

The Giants went from a pathetically inept franchise to a nine-win team and a playoff berth with a very poor roster.  You see, all of these turnarounds happened because each team is enjoying proper coaching.

I don’t believe you could seriously tell me that each of the four teams I’ve mentioned has better rosters than the Denver Broncos.  I just don’t buy it.  The issue with the Broncos this year, obviously, was the pathetically bad coaching we in the fanbase had to deal with in Nathaniel Hackett.

Getting a big name like Sean Payton or Jim Harbaugh would thrust the team back into irrelevancy.  What good coaches can do is scheme to their players’ strengths and also cover up roster deficiencies with their smart game-planning.

This is present with each of the teams mentioned earlier in this piece.  Arguably, a strong coach and play-callers could be more valuable than the roster itself.  I firmly believe that if Denver lands the right coach, we’d easily see a double-digit win team in 2023 and a playoff berth.
