3 Broncos who have played their last game for the team

KJ Hamler, Wide receiver

KJ Hamler has played in just 10 games in the past two seasons for the Broncos.  He’s caught a total of 12 passes in those 10 games.  For his three-year career with the Broncos, Hamler has 42 receptions for 620 yards and three touchdowns.

Not only has he been wildly ineffective for the team, but he’s played in just 23 games in three seasons, which is barely eight games a year.  There is simply no path forward for KJ Hamler on the team.

There seemed to be some trade deadline rumors regarding Hamler, but I’m not sure how much the team could even fetch in a trade.  If they can get any type of draft compensation, I think they pull the trigger.

If not, cutting him might be the best path forward.  He can’t stay on the field and has had virtually zero impact on the offense over his three years.  One of Denver’s top priorities this offseason is to find players who can stretch the field on offense with their speed.

That has become a need since KJ Hamler has failed to satisfy it.  This is his third year and I’m not sure I can pinpoint more than a few notable plays from Hamler during his time in Denver.
