Broncos who ended the season on a high note: Russell Wilson, Quarterback

Russell Wilson just concluded the worst season of his playing career, at any level. He has been knocked and questioned all year for his poor performance but he does deserve credit for the way he finished.

And that’s a good thing because Russ is going to be the quarterback of this team in the future.

On Sunday, Wilson looked like the player the Broncos thought they were getting when they traded for him. He slung the ball all over the field and although he only completed 13 passes in the game, they went for 283 yards and three touchdowns.

The Broncos will place a ton of focus this offseason and figuring out how to make Wilson more effective next season but he has looked so much better since the dismissal of Hackett that it’s like day and night, so it seems like the team has a good starting point.
