It has been a tremendously rough season for the Denver Broncos, but the team concluded the 2022 campaign with a 31-28 victory over the playoff-bound Los Angeles Chargers.

The victory ended the team’s streak of nine straight divisional losses and prevented the Broncos from going winless against the AFC West for the first time since 1982. It also marked the first win for interim head coach Jerry Rosburg, who did a fantastic job running the team following the dismissal of Nathaniel Hackett.

The Broncos finish the season 5-12, easily one of the worst in team history, but at least fans were able to have a good taste in their mouths when it concluded.

The Broncos now face plenty of uncertainty, starting with who the next head coach will be. But that uncertainty will be met with optimism from one of the best fanbases in all of football, Broncos Country.

These five players ended the season on a high note and should come into 2023 fired up and ready to turn things around.

Broncos who ended the season on a high note: Jerry Jeudy, Wide receiver

It has been very frustrating to watch Jerry Jeudy in a Broncos uniform since the team took him with a first-round pick in 2020 and that is mainly because football fans know how good he is.

He was a star at Alabama and came into the draft that year with a lot of hype. The Broncos took him at No. 15 overall but he has never truly blossomed in orange and blue for one reason or another, receiving many excuses for his poor performance.

But on Sunday against the Chargers, Jeudy again flashed signs of how good he can be, catching two passes of 50 yards or more and finishing the game with 154 yards on five receptions.

Jeudy will come into the 2023 season as the Broncos’ No. 1 option in the passing game. It was highly encouraging to see him finish the season with such a strong performance.
