Broncos players who are locks to make the Pro Bowl in 2023

Russell Wilson, QB

Russell Wilson is a nine-time Pro Bowler.  He won’t make the Pro Bowl this year obviously, but being named to one in 82% of your seasons in the NFL is quite something.  I do think it’s about guaranteed that Nathaniel Hackett is fired at the end of the season.

The Broncos should then turn their focus to hiring a more veteran head coach and staff.  I don’t think Wilson has dropped off, and the last couple of games have proven that.  He’s still an elite player at the position and I anticipate that with a new offense and staff who know how to get the most out of Wilson, we’ll see him return to his old self.

It’s really not a bad bet to make unless you’re someone who is very much sold on the idea of him being effectively washed up.  I’m not even close to getting there.  Russell Wilson is a literal Hall of Fame talent at the position.

He’ll be in canton one day and will finish inside the top 10 in every major quarterback category.  Let’s stop fooling ourselves, this is Russell Wilson we’re talking about.  He’ll bounce back next year and will have the Broncos in a much better spot than they’re at now.
