Are any of the veteran running backs worth keeping around?

The Broncos have had a disaster at the running back position this season, starting with the season-ending injury suffered by Javonte Williams.

Melvin Gordon wore out his welcome and was kept around for far too long before the team finally parted ways with him.

Instead, the Broncos have had to turn to players who weren’t even on the roster when the season began. How many of them are worth investing in beyond this season?

I have enjoyed what Latavius Murray has brought to the team, but he is also turning 33 years old next month.

Chase Edmonds was acquired in the Bradley Chubb deal but did almost nothing in Denver before a high ankle sprain landed him on IR.

Marlon Mack likely doesn’t have much of a future with the team.

The Broncos will get Williams back next season, but it may take him some time to be back to full health. The Broncos will certainly need to beef up the running back position somehow this offseason.
