The Denver Broncos face the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday in what could be a horribly lopsided loss for the 3-9 team. Could they pull out a win?  The Broncos feel like a get-right team.  Meaning teams will beat up on them to get themselves back on track.

Well, the Chiefs lost last week to the Cincinnati Bengals, so this game reeks of a Chiefs blowout win, doesn’t it?  On the other hand, the Broncos can play spoiler at this point, right?  They still have both of their divisional games against Kansas City and one against the Chargers.

Perhaps since the season is long gone at this point, the Broncos can see if they have anything in the tank to take down a potential playoff contender.  What does Las Vegas think about the Broncos’ chances against Kansas City?

Betting lines and predictions for Broncos vs. Chiefs

Right now, according to FanDuel, Denver is 9.5 point underdogs against the enemy.  Mind you, this game is being played at Mile High.  The odds are set at -110.  Betting $10 for the orange and blue to cover the spread will win you $9.09.

I would personally pick the Chiefs to cover.  If you’re feeling frisky, betting Denver to win outright wins you $35.  The point total for this game is set at 43.5.  I would probably take the Chiefs to cover and also bet the under in this one.

I don’t feel like wasting my money betting favorably for the Broncos this week.

As for a prediction, I think most of the fanbase is expecting a sizeable loss.  Even though Denver’s defense is elite this year, and they likely will play well, stopping Kansas City simply does not happen and the offense cannot be trusted to score points.

This to me feels like a get-right game for the Chiefs as they beat up on the lowly Broncos.

Prediction: Kansas City 24, Denver 10
