Broncos vs. Panthers bold prediction No. 3: Sam Darnold has a rough day

If there is one thing the Broncos have done well this year, it’s playing defense. Sam Darnold will be the third different starter at quarterback for the Panthers this season and it’s a tough defense to have to go against.

The Broncos will be without K’Waun Williams and newly acquired defensive end Jacob Martin is listed as questionable. Outside of that, the defense will have all of its key cogs and it is one that has allowed the least amount of points per game this season.

The Panthers only score 18.8 points per game this season and there is nothing to indicate that Darnold will spark some sort of offensive craze. He will struggle and struggle mightily against what the Broncos throw at him defensively, as would any of the other Panthers quarterbacks.

Prediction: Sam Darnold is sacked three times and turns the ball over twice
