Phillip Lindsay, Free Agent

A name you had to know would be here, Phillip Lindsay seems to draw Broncos fans right down the middle. There are those who love him and feel he should have never been gone and there are those who feel he’s where he belongs, as a street free agent.

Regardless of which side of that fence you sit on, there is literally no reason not to bring him in for the last part of this season. The team is not playing for the playoffs, it just isn’t, so bringing a fan favorite such as Lindsay back will do no harm.

Lindsay does struggle in aspects of the game. He doesn’t play special teams, he won’t be asked to get out there and block a blitzing linebacker and he is certainly on the smaller side. But he still runs the ball hard and can offer his veteran experience.

Lindsay was most recently with the Colts and even appeared in games this year, including one against the Broncos. His NFL dream is not completely over and even if it pretty much is, why not have it fittingly end in orange and blue?

As stated above, there is not one good reason not bring him onto a 3-7 football team that quite frankly, is going to lose a lot more games this season.
