Three more ridiculous trades for Broncos after 2022

Create a trade package around Brandin Cooks and KJ Hamler

OK, I have personally had enough with the KJ Hamler experience.  He’s a funny guy, as evidenced by the Broncos’ social media posts, but he can’t stay healthy and hasn’t been a consistent player.  He’s still in his early 20s and could have a long career ahead of him.

Enter, Brandin Cooks, a quality veteran receiver who has been traded about 93 times during his NFL career.  The 29-year-old has over 8,000 receiving yards for his career and six seasons of at least 1,000 yards.

I’ve been begging the Denver Broncos to trade for Cooks.  He expressed some frustration during the bye week as it seemed like he was about to be shipped to a contender.  He’s been traded three times and has never spent more than three years with a team.

He has every right to be angry at that as he produces wherever he goes.  Houston could save over $18 million on their cap space if they swung this trade.  It would give them insane cap relief and would allow them to build for the future.
