The Denver Broncos are likely going to be active in the 2023 offseason. Let’s look at three more ridiculous trades they could try and make.  The first installment of this topic came a few days ago, and it’s fun to think about what kind of moves like this a team can make.

Perhaps it’s way too early to be discussing this, but with how poorly the Denver Broncos are playing, it’s nice to not think about that for a little and perhaps focus on the future, which will be carefully crafted after the mistakes made in the 2022 offseason.

Could the Denver Broncos swing a major trade or two during the 2022 offseason?  Perhaps

Three more ridiculous trades for Broncos after 2022

Grab Ryan Kelly from the Colts

One of my trade ideas in my last piece was making a trade for Colts’ right tackle Braden Smith, who fills a long-term need for the Broncos at that position.  Well, perhaps Denver would rather ask the Colts if they’d be willing to part with veteran center Ryan Kelly?

He was drafted in the first round out of Alabama back in 2016 and has been one of the best centers in the NFL since being drafted.  He’s missed some games here and there but has mostly stayed healthy and has currently made three Pro Bowls in a row.

He’s under contract for the next two seasons and Indianapolis could save over $10 million on their cap space by trading him.  Given their current state, they could be headed towards a bit of a rebuilding.
