Broncos who will be looking for a new team in 2023: Kareem Jackson, Safety

Kareem Jackson looked like he could be out of Denver two years ago and certainly after this past season, but he keeps coming back to Denver on short-term deals. He also still shows that he can contribute despite his age.

Jackson is now 34 years old and the Broncos seem to have a player in place who can be a starter in Caden Sterns. The Broncos need to get younger at the position and could also turn to Delarrin Turner-Yell as well.

Jackson has been a solid contributor during his four seasons with the Broncos. The former first-round pick of the Houston Texans has had a respectable career and could even be playing in his final NFL season.

But he still shows durability and productivity. That said, it’s unlikely he will get any team to give him anything other than a one-year deal.

How he can stick around: The same way he has the last two seasons, signing a new one-year deal. But that is becoming increasingly unlikely as the Broncos attempt to find younger options at the position.

Unless they are totally dissatisfied with the guys they have drafted in recent years, Jackson will probably be elsewhere or enjoying retirement, next year.
