3. Shannon Sharpe

Shannon Sharpe is one of the most beloved players in Denver Broncos history, and certainly one of the most vibrant personalities. He’s become one of the most popular figures in sports media and certainly has had a lot to say about the Broncos through the years. As the Broncos have been struggling, Sharpe has obviously had to keep it real about where the team is at, at least from his perspective.

Just like many fans of the team, Sharpe is frustrated about the fact that the Broncos are not upholding the standard of winning which he helped create back in the 90s. Could he come in and be the voice to lead the players?

You can’t help but wonder if Sharpe could make a similar transition from being on TV to being a player’s coach, similar to what we’re seeing from Deion Sanders at Jackson State. Sanders had a different background from Sharpe in terms of his coaching qualifications, but you can’t help but think Sharpe could rally a locker room in a similar way, even at the NFL level.

Sharpe is a straight-shooter. He tells it like it is. He knows the game. He certainly talks on TV as though he’s got some ideas on how to fix things or make things better, even if it’s just in hindsight.

Seeing Sharpe on the sidelines for the Denver Broncos as an interim head coach would certainly be entertaining, if nothing else
