Three free agents for Broncos to add during bye week

AJ Bouye

AJ Bouye was once a Denver Bronco, but it did not work out too well.  He broke out with the Texans years ago, signed with the Jaguars, was traded to the Broncos, and had a stop with the Carolina Panthers.  He’s 31 years old and brings what would be a ton of experience to the Broncos lineup.

He also has some familiarity with a few of the players in the secondary, which could be an added bonus.  With Ronald Darby out for the season, more pressure has been put on Patrick Surtain II, K’Waun Williams, and rookie Damarri Mathis, who has not done a good job thus far.

Denver could use Bouye on the outside.  I think he could give the team some decent play in a reserve role.  He also isn’t going to cost a ton, so there’s no reason to balk at a price tag if that were to happen.

The secondary is the strongest part of the Denver Broncos once again, so maybe some think that we should leave it be.  I disagree and think that a move could be made to bolster an already elite unit.
