The Denver Broncos schedule is set to get much, much harder after their week eight game in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars.  If the first seven games weren’t bad enough, the Broncos might be looking at an even worse finish than the first half of their season, if that’s even possible.

They play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.  For the mountain time folks, it’s a 7:30 am kickoff.  I’ll be getting up to watch the team at 9:30 am eastern time, and I can’t say I have much excitement for the team if I’m being honest.

After this game, Denver heads into their bye week, which could bring about some notable changes.  The team may end up trading some players at the deadline, and perhaps Nathaniel Hackett could get the boot.

Besides that, what does the team’s schedule for the rest of the season look like?

Schedule outlook for the rest of the season for the Broncos

Five of their games after the bye week come against playoff teams as of now.  Their first game after the bye is against the Titans.

Their next three include the Raiders at home, the Panthers away, and the Ravens away.  The Raiders look very good after figuring out how they should run their offense, and the Ravens have always been a solid, well-coached team.

The first four games could easily have two or three losses.  They then play the Chiefs, Cardinals, and Rams.  Once again, I could see two more losses here.  Unless the offense takes a large step forward, this team is going to have trouble with every one of their remaining opponents.  They finish with the Chiefs and Chargers to cap off the 2022 season.

If things go south, I could see seven more losses after the bye week alone.  That would give the Broncos at least 12 losses. Whew.

It’s not going to be an easy path for them.  Perhaps they figure something out, or perhaps Russell Wilson catches some fire.  Maybe the Broncos’ offense regresses to the mean?  We’ll soon find out.
