We nailed Courtland Sutton as an Anytime TD scorer in the Broncos’ Week 4 loss to the Raiders, and he’s among my favorite picks to score once again as the focal point of Denver’s aerial attack. A $1,000 bet on his +155 odds last week would have profited $1,550, and we can swing for a BIG payday once again thanks to BetMGM’s amazing risk-free bet offer.

That $1,000 is yours to use as you please, and we’re going for that big win. Here’s who I’m targeting with Anytime TD scorer bets in Week 5:

Broncos vs Colts Anytime TD Scorer Picks

Courtland Sutton (+145)

Sutton finally broke through with a score in Week 4, and he leads the Broncos in red zone targets (six) on the season. With no Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon’s fumbling problem (four this season already), I expect Sutton to get even more opportunities close to the goal line.

The Colts are middling against wide receivers, allowing 114 yards and just under a TD per game to the position, but Sutton’s massive target share gives him value in a game the Broncos need to win.

Mike Boone (+200)

Boone out-snapped Melvin Gordon after Williams’ injury, getting 36% of the snaps to Gordon’s 19%. We know Denver prefers a committee in the backfield, and Boone ran for 124 yards in Week 17 last year when he started for the Vikings.

He’s a capable back, and Gordon’s goal-line fumbles should make Broncos coaches wary about trusting him near the end zone. That gives Boone value at this large number until Denver’s backfield gets sorted out.

Mo Alie-Cox (+470)

Alie-Cox was the Colts’ most productive pass-catcher last week, hauling in six passes for 85 yards and two TDs. It was the second consecutive week that Matt Ryan threw a TD to a tight end, and Cox’s odds are way too high against a Broncos defense that’s allowed two TDs to the position already this year.

Denver’s quality secondary, led by Patrick Surtain II, will force Ryan to look inside on his throws more. For an offense in need of a spark, especially with Jonathan Taylor possibly out, look for Ryan to lean on Alie-Cox once again.

If you like the value of these Anytime TD picks, just be sure to claim your $1,000 free bet from BetMGM before you make your bet. Note that if your wager does lose, you’ll have seven days to utilize your free bet credit. Stay locked into our NFL coverage through the weekend just in case, but count on banking one of these picks in a strong performance from Denver’s offense.
