Denver Broncos trade candidates at the deadline

Michael Ojemudia, CB

Perhaps some in Broncos Country have forgotten about Michael Ojemudia, who is currently injured.  OJ was drafted in the third round back in 2020 and actually played rather well in 16 appearances and 11 starts.  He notched six passes defenses and four forced fumbles.  He also had 62 total tackles as well.

He hasn’t been nearly as good since then between his two appearances in 2021 and the offseason activities.  He’s also a holdover from the John  Elway era, so George Paton likely doesn’t have much attachment to the player.

This could be a scenario similar to Greg Dulcich’s.   I think when Ojemudia gets healthy, the team could look to trade him.  Likewise when Dulcich gets healthy, perhaps the team could look to trade Albert Okwuegbunam.  The Denver Broncos do not have a ton of draft capital for 2023 and I’m sure would be interested in almost anything they could get.

It’s clear that the team has some roster holes that they need to fill, and the NFL Draft is the best way to do that.
