The Denver Broncos will face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 in what will be a key matchup in the AFC West. There are several big storylines to follow ahead of this game.

The Broncos have not gotten off to the start they were hoping for from an execution standpoint, but they have still managed to win two games in a row following a narrow loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the season opener.

The Raiders on the other hand have come out of the gate in miserable fashion and remain one of the biggest surprises in the league based on preseason projections.

Top Broncos storylines in Week 4: Can the offense get going?

The Broncos have won two games in a row, but it hasn’t been because the offense has been outstanding. Instead, it’s been the defense that has carried the team to victory. Sound familiar?

The Broncos have scored a total of 43 points in three games and that is just not a recipe for success long term. The team didn’t complete a massive trade to bring Russell Wilson aboard in order to average 14.3 points per game, they could have done that with Drew Lock.

So it will be interesting to see what kind of gameplan the Broncos go into this game with from an offensive standpoint and if that plan succeeds. The Raiders have allowed an average of 25.6 points per game so far this season so this is the game that Wilson and the offense need to make some plays.

The Broncos will have a hard time winning a 1-point slugfest like they did last week as the Raiders have put points on the board this season, averaging 21.3 points per game.
