The Denver Broncos are off to a rocky start in 2022. So far, I think there are three main reasons why the team could end up failing this season.  Depending on who you ask, failure for the Denver Broncos might mean finishing with a losing record.

It could also mean missing the playoffs, or not winning a playoff game.  Whatever you think failure looks like, I think most of the fanbase would be able to recognize failure when and if it happens this season.

The 2022 season needs to change drastically for the Broncos to get back to what many of us expected.  Fortunately, they appear to have some easier games on their schedule in the near future.  They still have yet to play the Jets, Jaguars, Titans, and Panthers.  The Jaguars, of all teams, might end up being the toughest game of that bunch.

So, if the Denver Broncos do end up failing in 2022, what would be the most likely reasons for that?

Most likely reasons Denver Broncos fail in 2022 – Coaching

Teams start and end with their coaching.  Well coached teams usually always do better than poorly coached teams.  So far, the Broncos are a poorly coached team, especially on the offensive side of the ball.  The defense has done their jobs so far, but it’s clear that the offense is needing to take a massive step forward.

There is a scenario, unfortunately, where the Broncos‘ offense and Nathaniel Hackett simply are not able to put it together in 2022.  Denver then could end up having a less than average offense and a good defense, which could put them around .500.

This would likely mean no playoffs in 2022, which, I think, would be a catastrophic failure, and one that would rest solely on the coaching staff.
