Denver Broncos Stock Up: Randy Gregory

Though sidelined for the preseason recovering from an injury, Randy Gregory has already made a difference on the Broncos’ defense. Though fans were frustrated with his production in Week One, Gregory does have a forced fumble in each of the past two games.

Gregory’s forced fumble and sack in Week Two against the Texans could not have come at a better time, and it seemed to be one of the factors that really breathed life into the team as a whole.

Randy Gregory is already showing that he is a force on the field, despite the highly mixed opinion of the team picking him up this past offseason. If Gregory can stay healthy and stay available, there is little doubt that he is going to be a driving force on the defensive unit this season.

Courtland Sutton

When the Denver Broncos needed someone to step up on the offensive side of the ball, wide receiver Courtland Sutton answered the call. Though kept out of the end zone, Sutton had a monster day with 7 receptions for 122 yards. The biggest part of Sutton’s performance was that so many of his big receptions seemed to come with the drive on the line, whether it be on 3rd or 4th down.

Tyrie Cleveland had pretty simple but effective praise of his teammate after the victory: “He’s a dog” (per Denver Broncos).

The offensive unit seemed to pick up some steam in the fourth quarter, rallying behind Sutton. Hopefully, this trend continues upward.
