Broncos should sign Will Fuller, Wide Receiver

The Broncos’ deepest position group this offseason was at wide receiver but suddenly it seems somewhat weak. With K.J. Hamler missing this past week’s game and Jeudy having to leave during it, the team has struggled with health at the position.

Jeudy also missed six games last year and Tim Patrick is out for the season, a player who is really missed.

The Broncos have players such as Kendall Hinton, Darrius Shepherd and Vyncint Smith on the practice squad so knowing they can always elevate a player such as that, they should opt for a bigger name on the free-agent market.

Will Fuller is not exactly the best answer when considering health as a main issue, because he has been hurt a great deal during his career, but he’s a younger option than T.Y. Hilton and he could play right away, unlike a player such as Odell Beckham.

But in Denver, Fuller makes sense for one reason. When healthy, he is as legitimate as any wide receiver in the league on deep routes and Wilson throws perhaps the best deep ball in the league.

He wouldn’t be a guy to sign and come in to play 60 snaps a week. This would be a situational move for the Broncos, a weapon the team could unleash in certain packages to get behind the defense and give Wilson a chance to work some magic with him on a deep ball.

The thought that the Broncos were 'just a QB away' was wrong. dark. Next

The Broncos just need more depth at certain spots and if players like Hamler and Jeudy are going to be continually banged up, adding reinforcements makes sense.
