On Monday night, the Denver Broncos will be reunited with the three trade pieces they used in the acquisition of Russell Wilson. While we won’t see Drew Lock unless there is an injury to Geno Smith, we will see tight end Noah Fant and defensive end Shelby Harris.

It would not surprise me if Harris, who is listed as a right defensive end on the Seattle Seahawks depth chart, ends up playing a really solid game against his former team.

This is not the first time Harris was given up on, as he was cut and signed many times throughout his career before landing with the Broncos for a couple of seasons.

Billy Turner not ready, Cam Fleming will get the start at RT for the Broncos

The Broncos unfortunately will be without Billy Turner for Monday Night’s game. That leaves Cameron Fleming as the starter, on the side on which Harris is listed on the Seattle Seahawks depth chart.

Fleming played on just 285 snaps for the Broncos in 2021 and had two penalties while giving up zero sacks. According to Pro Football Focus, Fleming has given up 18 sacks throughout his NFL career.

Shelby Harris will likely feel like he has a chip on his shoulder, as he has for almost the entirety of his NFL career. He has experience playing against Fleming, which could potentially give him an edge.

The entire offensive line will have to put up a really good game and protect Russell Wilson. We have yet to see Wilson in game action yet so I hope that he does not have to run for his life in his first game as a Denver Bronco.

Billy Turner is still on the Physically Unable to Perform list. The sooner he gets back, the better the team’s offensive line should hold up.
