1. Los Angeles Chargers
I am sick and tired of the Chargers being hyped up the way they have been this offseason. They’ve still proven to be a team that collapses when it matters most, even with a young, elite quarterback and a new head coach.
However, there’s no denying the talent they have and the additions they made to shore up their weak spots. They had one of the absolute worst defenses in the NFL last season, and likely fixed that. Adding Khalil Mack, JC Jackson, Kyle Van Noy, and Sebastian Joseph-Day to the defense is going to prove to be a huge boost.
They also signed Bryce Callahan, who recently spent time with the Broncos. Their secondary is stacked. Along with Callahan and JC Jackson, they have Derwin James, Michael Davis, and Asante Samuel Jr. I think we’ll see them lose a game or two in typical Chargers fashion, but the team is loaded, and there’s no denying that.
Justin Herbert is one of the few quarterbacks in the NFL who has the bandwidth to be able to hang with Patrick Mahomes, which is another huge plus. Their offensive skill players in Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Austin Ekeler make for a huge problem for opposing defenses.

I think the Chargers could easily win the division. But then again, I think the same about the Broncos and Chiefs. Buckle up. The AFC West is going to be a bloodbath.
