Where do the Broncos fall in the AFC West heading into 2022?

2. Denver Broncos

The Broncos deserve hype.  They deserve attention.  They deserve to be in the national spotlight.  The moves that the team made this offseason were by far the most consequential in the NFL.  George Paton worked his magic to bring a Hall of Fame quarterback to the Mile High City.

Russell Wilson’s pedigree is nearly unmatched by many other quarterbacks in the NFL currently.  Denver has mostly been viewed as being a team that’s a quarterback away from competing.  Well, they have their QB.

The offense is loaded with talented players and an offensive line that’ll keep Russell Wilson mostly clean.  The defense was one of the best in the NFL last season and was added to in the offseason.  DJ Jones, Randy Gregory, and K’Waun Williams bring new blood to the defense.  Each player is very talented and should help keep Denver’s defense near the top again.

I think we’re all cautiously optimistic about the team, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having heavy expectations for this team.  For the last two seasons, we’ve seen elite quarterbacks in new faces win Super Bowls with their new teams.

I might not be predicting Denver to win it all, but they can certainly make a run in the playoffs.
