Biggest issues facing Broncos in 2022: Putting it all together

Broncos fans are going to be expecting a playoff run this season but with Wilson at quarterback, they are also going to be expecting a lot more. However, with new ownership and a new coaching staff, is that realistic?

It’s great that Wilson is the quarterback but Nathaniel Hackett is not just a new head coach for the Broncos, he’s new to the head-coaching ranks in general. He will be installing a brand new system, overhauling a team that has tried to rely on defense since the retirement of Manning. Putting that end and finding success is not going to happen instantly.

These things take time and when you throw in what looks to be the most difficult division in NFL history and you have all the makings of a season that could be a bit of a letdown, at least if you are expecting the Broncos to go out and win the Super Bowl.

This Broncos team has a chance to be really good, there is no doubt about that. But fans may need to practice a little bit of patience before expecting them to turn things around completely and become one of the league’s elite teams in 2022.
