The Denver Broncos added a Hall of Fame quarterback this offseason. With Russell Wilson in the mix, what are some lofty goals for the team this year?

Russell Wilson has completely changed the dynamic of the Denver Broncos.

What once was a team barely treading water in 2021 is now a team that has a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl in 2022.

Russell Wilson is a first-ballot Hall of Fame player who brings that pedigree to the franchise when they needed it most.  I do think some across the NFL aren’t giving too high expectations for the team since Wilson is a bit older and them being in the loaded AFC West.

However, Wilson has nine winning seasons in his 10 years in the NFL and has a ton of playoff experience, 16 games to be exact.

What are some lofty goals for the Denver Broncos to try and accomplish in 2022?

Three lofty goals for the Denver Broncos in 2022: Have a winning record in the division

This is going to be a tough task.  I do like the Denver Broncos’ roster a bit better than both the Raiders and Chiefs, and I do think three wins from those four games is possible.

I am high on the Chargers, if I had to bet against the Broncos, but Justin Herbert has a losing record for his career and hasn’t played his best ball against the Broncos.

Winning at least four games in the loaded AFC West might sound impossible, but with the Broncos likely sporting a top offense and defense, it’s very much in reach.

Some may question the chemistry of the team since they are adding a new quarterback and coaching staff.

However, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams were able to navigate through a new quarterback in the 2020 and 2021 seasons en route to a Super Bowl championship.

You’re telling me the Denver Broncos, led by Russell Freakin’ Wilson, can’t win four games in the division in 2022?
