Top 3 players who stood out on Day 5 of Denver Broncos training camp
Denver Broncos Day 5 standout no. 3: Baron Browning, EDGE
Let’s have a look at the latest bit of Baron Browning hype, shall we?
I just don’t know how the Denver Broncos are going to keep Browning off the field.
Unfortunately, no one in attendance at the practices has really been asking Nathaniel Hackett how he and defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero plan on utilizing the former Ohio State star.
Not that they would just give that information away, anyway.
At any rate, Browning continues to make a positive impression. Now, he’ll get the opportunity to show what he can do with the pads on and he’s already shown some great things thus far.
With Randy Gregory continuing to regain the strength in his surgically repaired shoulder, opportunities abound for players like Browning to go out there and show what he can do.
His speed off the edge is going to be a lot for offensive linemen to handle as it is, but where he could really be a problem is with his hand strength and overall upper-body strength.
Browning’s game might start with speed, but it doesn’t end there. He’s powerful off the edge as well.
As long as the positive reviews continue to come pouring in, it’s impossible to say the Denver Broncos made any sort of mistake by putting one of their best athletes on the defensive side of the ball at one of the most valuable positions.
