Denver Broncos player no. 2: Jerry Jeudy, WR

Coming into training camp, I think pretty much everyone had a certain level of expectations for Jerry Jeudy and really every receiver on this Denver Broncos roster.

The wide receiver position is a fascinating one on this roster with players like Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick having established themselves as the top two guys on the team over the last couple of seasons.

While all of the top three receivers on this roster have really done a good job of getting involved early on in training camp, it seems like Jerry Jeudy is really stealing the show out there.

Over the last couple of days of Denver Broncos training camp, Jeudy has been featured heavily.

What does that mean about his chemistry with Russell Wilson?

We know what the defense thinks of Jeudy. Justin Simmons said that Jeudy is essentially the most versatile weapon on the offense and a guy the defense has to consistently account for.

It seems kind of ridiculous to say or even think about but to this point, Jeudy hasn’t really been properly utilized in the NFL.

The Broncos have this offensive weapon that can line up both inside and out, he can run great routes and separate easily, and he can blow the top off the defense with speed.

Jeudy is tremendous after the catch and the new coaching staff and quarterback in Denver are really finding ways to highlight his skillset rather than diminish it by simply sending him in motion on every play.

So far through a few days of camp, it seems like Jeudy is one of the guys out there exceeding expectations.
