The Denver Broncos have only been practicing for a handful of days already, but some players are already exceeding expectations.

Denver Broncos training camp has really only just begun, but certain players are already standing out in a big way.

We’ve taken a look at players making a case for being breakout candidates in 2022 and all those in attendance at camp have certainly taken notice of a select few players that have been consistently sticking out more than the rest.

Even some players that had high expectations on this roster have come out and raised some eyebrows with their play early on.

Which Denver Broncos players are exceeding expectations already through four training camp practices?

Let’s take a look at the top four.

Denver Broncos player no. 1: Baron Browning, EDGE

It should come as no surprise that Baron Browning is flashing consistently so far at Denver Broncos training camp.

Browning is one of the freakiest athletes on the Denver Broncos, and they’ve been loading up on players in that category over the last couple of years.

Browning’s freakish athleticism was converted from the off-ball linebacker position to the much more valuable EDGE position this offseason, and he’s been flashing consistently.

Browning has gotten a lot of recognition so far for his speed but also his ability to set the edge, and the Broncos haven’t even put the pads on yet.

What kind of role will this translate to in 2022? That remains to be seen but there’s no doubt that the Broncos are going to have to find a way to get Browning on the field, especially after what he showed in his rookie season.

The defensive staff, led by Ejiro Evero, has a pretty fun “problem” on their hands with Browning and the current logjam at the EDGE position group.
