#3 player that stood out on Day 2 of Denver Broncos training camp: Justin Simmons

It sounds like one of the top players on the team, Justin Simmons, had a very solid day on Thursday. It even included a play in which Simmons wasn’t even targeted.

It was a play that impressed his new head coach Nathaniel Hackett…

Simmons saw an opportunity to show up and took it. He really has nothing to prove but that would never be said by him.

Simmons also had an interception on Wednesday, the team’s first training camp practice of the 2022 offseason.

It appears to be true what they say about Justin Simmons: he hasn’t necessarily reached his potential. The Broncos figure to be ahead in games this season which means that there could be less pressure on the defense.

That’s good news for Simmons, and he should be able to snag a good number of interceptions during the 2022 season.
