The Denver Broncos defense has been getting some love from the Madden 23 ratings, with two players making an appearance on a unique list.

K’waun Williams and Ronald Darby earned spots on Madden 23’s cornerbacks catching list, with Williams coming in at eighth and Darby closing the list in the 10th spot.

The Denver Broncos are the only organization to have two players from the same team crack the top 10.

Williams snags a 79-catching rating, while Darby is two attributes below with a 77 overall in that category.

For Williams, this is the 30-year-old’s first season in the orange and blue threads after spending the last five seasons in San Francisco and his first two in Cleveland. The seven-year vet has four interceptions, 27 pass deflections, 11 forced fumbles, and seven sacks.

This is the second year back in Denver for Darby, who spent his first six seasons with the Bills, Eagles, and Washington Commanders.

Last season, Darby started all 11 games he appeared in finishing with six pass deflections and 53 tackles. Throughout his seven-year journey, he’s picked off the quarterback eight times and ball hawked with 87 pass deflections.

This upcoming season will be a huge test for the Denver Broncos defense with finally having a suitable enough offense to compete.

The AFC West will be like the Wild Wild West and in order to win it, guys like Williams and Darby will have to step up and show out. Luckily for them, Tyreek Hill is out of the division, however, with the addition of JuJu Smith-Schuster to the Chiefs and the Raiders snagging Davante Adams, the pressure to ball hawk is still there.

Madden 23 is set to release on August 29th with fans chopping at the bit for a brand new look versus the updated style fans have grown accustomed to.

Williams and Darby rank 8th and 9th on Madden’s cornerback rankings for the AFC West. As Madden updates throughout the year, it will be interesting to see if Williams and Darby jump up higher on the list or move down.
