With training camp opening for the Denver Broncos, the team may have some players flying under the radar that could end up being big contributors this season.

Denver Broncos fans are waiting for the official debut of Russell Wilson at quarterback. They can’t wait to see what Jerry Jeudy can do with him throwing passes and the idea of Javonte Williams in his second season is quite exciting.

On the defensive side of the ball, Patrick Surtain and Justin Simmons are two of the best players in the league at their respective positions and what about second-round pick Nik Bonitto? There is a lot to be excited about but fans around the league and teams around the league will be asking those same questions when it comes to the Broncos.

But what about the players that a lot of fans and even other teams around the league aren’t quite as familiar with? The Broncos have some players on the back of this roster who, with a good performance this summer, could make the team or the practice squad and make something happen at some point this season.

These four players could be some well-kept secrets for the team this year.

Broncos’ best-kept secrets: Trey Quinn, Wide receiver

Trey Quinn has had some action in the NFL after being chosen by Washington in the seventh round of the 2018 draft. He spent two seasons there and caught 35 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns, working as a receiver out of the slot.

Since being waived by Washington ahead of the 2000 season, he has been looking to find his footing, spending time with both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders since then. Neither of those teams had any room for Quinn, but the Broncos definitely could.

Quinn will have to make his way through a talented wide receiver group and that will prove extremely tough, but if he makes enough of an impression this summer, he could be kept around on the practice squad and used down the road this season.

With a quarterback like Wilson running the offense, he could help make a guy like Quinn quite productive. He had a knack for doing that with relatively unknown targets in the passing game while with the Seattle Seahawks.
