The Denver Broncos could still look into tinkering with their roster ahead of training camp. Here are three veterans they should be trying to sign.

Denver Broncos general manager George Paton is definitely not done tinkering with his roster.

As I’m sure we’ll come to find throughout the course of training camp, Paton’s work is far from over, which will be one of the fascinating storylines to watch.

As of right now, the Broncos could still use some upgrades in the depth department at positions like tight end, linebacker, and cornerback, but what players at those position groups are still available?

Let’s take a look at three free agents the Denver Broncos could (should?) sign with training camp on the very near horizon.

Denver Broncos free agent no. 1: Kyle Rudolph, TE

Good news for the Denver Broncos on this one — Kyle Rudolph has already taken a visit to the team facility and worked out for the staff.

General manager George Paton knows Kyle Rudolph very well from their time together in Minnesota, and everyone knows that Kyle Rudolph is one of the true good guys in the NFL today.

Not only would Rudolph be an upgrade over the Denver Broncos’ current tight end depth, but he could also be a great asset for the community, no matter how long or short his stay in Denver.

The former Vikings star tight end has been weighing options this offseason and it was recently reported that he will likely sign somewhere before training camp.

So why not Denver?

He could reunite with the Minnesota Vikings who may have a more dire situation at the position, but if the Broncos came calling, the idea of playing with Russell Wilson could be enticing, even if Rudolph would be playing a TE3 role at best.
