Denver Broncos fantasy football star no. 1: Russell Wilson, QB

45. 2021 fantasy points: 242.82. 1. QB. RussellWilson. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Russell Wilson has long been a solid fantasy football option at the quarterback position, even if he’s not necessarily in the upper-tier of fantasy QBs.

Just by the nature of the position he plays, Wilson is probably going to be the highest-scoring Denver Broncos player in fantasy football this season.

He’s got outstanding weapons and he’s going to have the chance to spread the ball around all season long.

Although the Broncos will have a great running game to lean on, I think Wilson will still be the focal point of the offense.

He scored almost 250 points last year even with a finger injury that cut into his season.

I think we’re going to see Wilson come close to 4,000 passing yards and 35 touchdowns this season, and that doesn’t even include what he can do as a runner as well.

Wilson will complete a high percentage of his passes, but we’ll see what kind of INT numbers he posts. He’s not been immune to turning the ball over the last couple of years but his INT percentage is typically under two percent.

Simply put, Wilson is now surrounded by arguably the most talented group of skill players he’s ever had, with all due respect to what the Seahawks have given him since 2012.

He had some awesome groups of players there to work with as well.

In Denver, Wilson should entrench himself as a legit QB1 option in fantasy.
