Broncos who could be traded before the start of the 2022 season: One of the wide receivers

Like last summer when the team moved Trinity Benson after a stellar preseason, Paton could look to recoup one of his draft picks by doing the same this year.

The Broncos once again have a loaded wide receiver room heading into training camp and it’s clear that most of them are not going to make the team.

Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick and K.J. Hamler (though it would be bold to entertain trading him) are all going to make the team. Fifth-round pick Montrell Washington will be in the driver’s seat to get a spot based on his ability on special teams as a returner.

Will the team keep six receivers? Even if not, players such as Tyrie Cleveland, Kendall Hinton and Seth Williams could all fetch a late-round draft pick, particularly if they perform well in preseason games.

If the team is not looking to make any of those guys part of the 53-man roster, Paton could certainly look to send one of them to a team in need of more depth at the position.

dark. Next. Who are the toughest QBs the Broncos will see in 2022?

The Broncos just have too much talent at this position for any of these guys to really make much of a move up the depth chart this season. A trade to send of them away for a future draft pick makes sense.
