Injured Denver Broncos player no. 3: Michael Ojemudia, CB

Patrick Surtain is the number one Cornerback now and for the next decade, but as of right now there is a big question of who will be starting with him.

Ronald Darby and K’Waun Williams are the veterans who have the experience starting, but they will be tested by a lot of young guys including Michael Ojemudia.

Ojemudia just so happens to be the player that has caught the eye of Surtain this off-season with him saying that he has been “Ballin” throughout OTAs.

Ojemudia didn’t suit up until week 17 last year and didn’t receive any defensive snaps until the final week. In that week he combined for 11 tackles and two passes defended.

You don’t necessarily want to see your corners making that many tackles but it does show the aggressive nature he typically plays with.

Not saying Ojemudia will take one of the starting spots but if he keeps building on the impressive practices he’s already put, he could see himself lining up on the opposite side as PS2.
