Malik Reed- Denver Broncos linebacker

Malik Reed will only be eligible for this list for another couple of months, as he will turn 26 in August, but he needs to be recognized as he is one of the most underrated players on the team.

Reed has gone from an undrafted rookie to a player that has been pressed into action to fill in for players that have been hurt in recent years, notably Bradley Chubb and Von Miller. He has had big shoes to fill and he has stepped up every time.

In fact, he led the team with eight sacks in 2020 despite Chubb being elected to the Pro Bowl with 7.5.

Reed should be viewed as a viable defensive option for at least a few more seasons. He has gone from a player sitting on the roster bubble each summer to one who should have a job locked up before training camp even starts.

In three seasons, Reed has 15 sacks for the team and can really put good pressure on the quarterback in a way that his teammates can come and make a big play. Reed’s services are huge for this team and he has become a big part of the defense.
