The Denver Broncos feature a much different roster than the one they finished last season with, but who are the team’s best players at 25 years of age or less?
The Broncos will be led by veteran quarterback Russell Wilson, who is currently 33 years old. While it takes experience to win in the NFL, the best rosters are built on solid youth.
The Broncos have a bunch of promising players at 25 years or younger and some that are just over that threshold. But with only a handful of players having their careers last past age 30, the window of opportunity is small for a player in the league and that is the case for the teams that employ them.
To make this list, a player needs to be 25 or less at the time of this writing. These are certainly some of the players the Broncos will build around for years to come, and though not listed here, prized rookies such as Nik Bonitto and Greg Dulcich could soon earn their way to a spot in this order.
Baron Browning- Denver Broncos LB
At No. 7 on the list is Baron Browning, and he is only this low because he has only had one season in the league. He certainly has the talent to move up ahead of some of the guys in front of him.
As a rookie last season, Browning made 58 tackles in nine starts for the team and he is one of the most promising players on the defensive unit.
The 2022 season will be an interesting one for the 23-year-old as there has been talk of moving him to the outside to capitalize on his freakish athleticism and have him rush the passer.
That is a curious decision considering inside linebacker might be the thinnest position on the entire roster and the team used a second-round pick to select Bonitto, but it will be interesting to see how this new coaching staff intends to get the most out of Browning.
