Time to prepare for Kansas City

Though the Broncos will have to battle the Kansas City Chiefs twice during those final six weeks of the season, the fact that they will go the first three months of the year without having to deal with them could be huge.

We all know the number by now, the Broncos have lost 13 games in a row to the Chiefs and that broken record is going to keep sounding until it is broken.

Snapping that skid, and getting that monkey off their back needs to be a priority for this team this season. The Chiefs have been one of the best AFC teams for several years running now, but the Broncos need to get rid of this psychological advantage that the Chiefs have gained over them.

Wilson should be instrumental in that regard.

The Chiefs will not have Tyreek Hil anymore but they do still have Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Andy Reid, among others. Though some prognosticators have put the Chiefs at the bottom of the AFC West heading into this coming season, they are still the biggest roadblock currently in Denver’s way in that division because of the lopsided recent series history.
